Booking online help

The taxi booking website is mostly self explanatory and simple to use, but should you need any help, the instructions below provide a step by step guide:

Getting started on E-booking

·         Add the address to favourites and create desktop shortcut. Type the web address above into the address bar, and then add this to your favourites. You can also create a desktop shortcut by clicking on the CITY TAXI WEB BOOKING, click copy, then go to your desktop and paste shortcut.

Changing your password

·         To change your password, click on MY PROFILE, fill in details and click SUBMIT CHANGES. Ensure that all authorized users know the new password.

Booking a job

·         When booking a job, type in the road name then a list of locations will appear in blue. Please ensure that you select from this list rather than typing in the full address yourself.

·         Make sure that the correct date and pick up time are entered.

·         Complete the rest of the form, giving as much information as possible.

·         If you would like ‘ring back’ to notify you when the taxi has arrived, please enter your phone number and tick the ringback box.

·         You have the option to book the job as cash or on your account.

·         When you have booked a job, you will see a message confirming the booking has been accepted and showing the details. You will be given an E-booking reference number, which can be used to check the job status if needed.

·         You can cancel any job that has been booked. However, please cancel as soon as you realize the taxi is no longer required. Once your job has gone green and is dispatched you will need to call our office on 2393939 to cancel the job as the driver will be already on his way to pick his customer up.

Creating and using job templates

·         If you have a particular journey that you book regularly, it is a good idea to create a job template, to make the booking process quicker. Click on DEFAULT JOBS, complete the form then click on SAVE THIS JOB. In DEFAULT JOBS you will have a list of all job templates that you have added, and can edit or delete them from here.

·         To book a job using a job template, click BOOK NEW JOB and at the top of the page next to select default job, click the drop down menu and select the required job template. Then enter the correct date and time of pick up. The details can also be edited at this stage if you wish to make a slight change, such as an extra pick up point.

·         You can also set a default job so that when you log into your e-booking account, the default journey details appear automatically on the booking form. Again, you can edit the details at this stage, if any changes are needed. Then you also need to enter the date and time required.

Checking the status of a booking

·         Click on JOB STATUS, and type in the E-booking reference number that you were given when you made the booking.

·         This will show you if the job has been dispatched and other job details.

·         If you need to cancel the journey, you can do so by clicking the cancel this job button.

The benefits of Job History

·         In JOB HISTORY you can view all the jobs that you have booked by E-booking, which means you have an up to date, accurate record of your taxi usage. You can use this to check your booking details are correct, check against your invoices and for reference if you have any queries about your taxi journeys.

·         You can also view a job that has been done in the past, and select repeat to book the same journey in again.
